Seeing Eye to Eye - Rescheduled from January! (7:30 PM PDT)
Becky Jaffe is a photographer, naturalist and educator. She uses in-camera techniques to create painterly effects that communicate reverence for nature. Her works have been published in Lens Work, Shots magazine, Bay Nature, the SF Chronicle and National Geographic. She has exhibited extensively in over 40 museums and galleries nationwide. She teaches Art of Seeing courses and is a lecturer for Cal Discoveries Travel using her photography practice as a way to cultivate and share a sense of wonder. Becky will speak to us in person on "Seeing Eye to Eye: the Picturesque Tête-a-Tête Between Painting and Photography" at our usual time of 7:30pm in the Murphy Park Recreation Center in Sunnyvale.
