Who We Are

 

The Sunnyvale Photographic Club is an association of amateur and professional photographers. Our purpose is to provide educational and social opportunities that increase the enjoyment of photography. The Club was founded over 30 years ago and has held its twice-monthly meetings since the days of film. Club members pay annual dues to be a member. Membership benefits include participation in the monthly photo competition, storage of member’s submitted competition images on the website gallery, and participation in special programs. You don't need to be a member to attend any meeting, and photographers of all skill levels are welcome. 

  • Club activities are run by an all volunteer team of Club officers with functional responsibilities for organizing photo competitions, classes, expert presentations, photographic field trips and social events.

  • We are an association of individuals organized for a joint purpose. We do not have written bylaws, and do not carry liability insurance. 

  • Members, visitors, and guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being while attending a meeting, or when joining a field photographic trip led by a peer/club member. The Club accepts no liability for injury, damage or loss while participating in any Club event and each Participant accepts and assumes full responsibility for any risks, injuries, and/or damages, that a Participant might incur while participating in the Club’s Activities.

  • We are not a youth organization; therefore, members must be age 18 or older.
